Southeast Kentucky Chamber Holds Regional Competition of National Civics Bee at Mountain Arts Center
PIKEVILLE, KY (April 26, 2024)—The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce held the regional competition of the National Civics Bee at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The next stage of the competition will be at the state level held at the Kentucky State Fair in August. The first-place winner of the state competition will then travel to Washington, D.C. to compete on the national level for a chance to win a grand prize valued at $50,000. Patton Leadership Institute Holds Seventh Session in Johnson County
PIKEVILLE, KY (April 10, 2024) – The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Patton Leadership Institute (PLI) held its seventh session in Johnson County on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Southeast Kentucky Chamber Holds Opening Retreat for Patton Leadership Institute Class of 2024
PIKEVILLE, KY (October 16, 2023) – The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the opening retreat for the Patton Leadership Institute (PLI), Class of 2024 on October 5-6, 2023. The retreat was held at Breaks Interstate Park with Chamber President & CEO, Jordan Gibson and Culture Docs Chief Engagement Officer, Jeff Peden as facilitators. The retreat featured workshops that taught participants about effective communication, regional history, and an overview of the Breaks Interstate Park.
