Ribbon Cutting with Laundry Den, Inc.
PIKEVILLE, KY – September 5, 2025 — The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 5, to celebrate the official grand opening of Laundry Den, Inc. and UV 10 Tanning, located on Hambley Blvd. in Pikeville.
The business, now under the leadership of new owners, has undergone significant renovations to better serve customers. Updates include the installation of several new washers, providing the community with a modern, reliable, and efficient laundry experience. The tanning side of the business, UV 10 Tanning, continues to offer customers quality services in a refreshed and welcoming atmosphere with various beds to choose from as well as the option for spray tanning or red-light therapy.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by Chamber members and staff as well as local leaders such as Mayor Jimmy Carter. The new ownership team welcomed both customers and guests with refreshments while sharing their enthusiasm about the updates and their commitment to providing excellent service.
“We’re happy to be able to breathe new life into this space and look forward to what’s to come,” says owner Phillip Carter, “the community has been welcoming, and we appreciate the turnout.”
In addition to coin operated laundry facilities, Laundry Den, Inc. offers laundry pick-up and delivery services with hopes of expanding into more commercial laundry services as they continue building their business.
