Ribbon Cutting for Newly Renovated ARH Home Medical Store in Prestonsburg

PRESTONSBURG, KY — October 28, 2025 —The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce joined officials from Appalachian Regional Healthcare on Tuesday, October 28, to celebrate the ribbon cutting and grand reopening of the newly renovated ARH Home Medical Store, located by Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.

The freshly updated facility is now open and ready to serve the home medical needs of Floyd County and the surrounding region. The store offers a wide range of equipment and supplies, including lift chairs, knee scooters, and other home medical essentials designed to help patients care for themselves and their loved ones comfortably at home.
The ceremony was attended by several ARH officials from across the region, including Highlands ARH CEO Jonathan Koonce, who expressed his pride in the efforts that went into preparing the building, staff, and equipment for reopening.

“This store represents ARH’s continued commitment to providing quality care and access to the tools our patients need to thrive at home,” said Koonce. “We’re proud of the team that made this possible and look forward to serving not only the patients of Highlands ARH but those across the entire ARH system.”

The Southeast Kentucky Chamber was proud to welcome the ARH Home Medical Store back into full operation, highlighting its contribution to healthcare access and economic growth in the region.

The ARH Home Medical Store at 5080 KY Route 321 Suite A, in Prestonsburg is now open to the public, ready to assist patients and families with their home medical needs.

The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is located at 178 College Street in Pikeville and serves more than 400 businesses in eight Eastern Kentucky Counties: Floyd, Johnson, Knott, Lawrence, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, and Pike.
