Pirate’s Cove Axe, Paint & Rage Ribbon Cutting Makes Splash in South Williamson

PIKEVILLE, KY (October 12, 2023) – The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome its newest member, Pirate’s Cove Axe, Paint & Rage located at 148 Appalachian Plaza in South Williamson. The Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting on October 10, 2023, for the newly opened business which offers axe throwing, splash painting, a rage room, billiards, arcade games, and more all under one roof.

Since opening, Pirate’s Cove has quickly become a go-to destination thanks to its diverse range of activities. Axe throwing lets customers over the age of 12 channel their inner lumberjack against wooden targets. Artistic individuals can also get creative with their painting skills in the splash room. For those seeking to let off some steam, the rage room provides a safe outlet.

“Pirates Cove is a unique and exciting addition to the local entertainment scene,” said Chamber President & CEO Jordan Gibson. “We know families and teens across the region will embrace this opportunity for quality time and adrenaline-filled fun.”

As the business grows, so will the number of activities. Owner Dee Kiser is excited to unveil her ideas for a “Walk the Plank” ball pit and adding a “Captain Hook Ring Toss” board to the mix.

“We're honored to join the Southeast Kentucky Chamber and the business community,” said Kiser. “Our goal is to provide entertainment options for all ages. We look forward to providing the community with a fun and safe place for families to make lasting memories.”
