Blackburn's Hometown Store joins the Chamber
Blackburn’s Hometown Store has joined the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
 
Blackburn's Hometown Store, located at 275 Southside Mall Road in South Williamson, KY, opened October 18, 2023. The owners, Sam and Donette Blackburn, were also the owners of Sears Hometown Store in the same location from 1993 until the closing of Feb 2023. 

After the closing of the Sears store, Sam and Donette pondered what the next chapter of their career would be. “With the help of the Lord, we took the leap to open our own store,” said Sam.

Together they have more than 30 years of experience in sales. Sam’s father, Jim Blackburn, was the founder of the Sears store and worked there for more than 61 years until his passing. Now, Blackburn’s Hometown Store continues to provide the local communities with a great selection of appliances, furniture, mattresses and more.

Sam and Donette said, “we love our community and appreciate all those who have supported us and acknowledge our success throughout all the years comes from Jesus”. They look forward to being of help to the people of South Williamson and surrounding areas for years to come.
