Membership Meeting with Stephanie Abshire

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, is known for its thrift stores and donation centers, but they’re so much more than that. Goodwill is in the business of reducing poverty – and they do that with programs and services that take a holistic approach to self-sufficiency.  The Pikeville Opportunity Center is designed to help Kentucky’s most challenged job seekers overcome barriers that prevent them from finding success in the workforce. Services include employment training, soft skills training, financial literacy courses, transportation assistance, expungement services and technology training.
