Jenny Wiley State Park Job Fair

Breaks Interstate Park will host a job fair on Saturday, January 3 for those interested in seasonal employment at the park this summer.
 
Superintendent Austin Bradley said there would be a wide variety of seasonal positions available this year, some beginning as early as March. "With options ranging from 40 hours per week to some which are more part time in nature, these positions represent a great opportunity for people in the local community to earn extra income and build work experience,” said Bradley
 
Available positions include: Contact Rangers; Restaurant Servers, Hostesses, and Cooks; Housekeepers; Reservations Desk employees; and Pool Concession staff and lifeguards. Contact Rangers are the most diverse employees at the park, and those chosen to fill the positions will rotate among the Camp Store, Visitor Center/Museum, Front Gate, Pedal Boats, and Water Park admission.
 
The Job Fair will be held at the Rhododendron Conference Center and will begin at 10 am. Interested applicants should meet in the Dickenson Room for an introduction and informational session before breaking off into groups depending on their work interests. Park division heads and managers will be available to offer detailed insight into job positions and to answer any questions. Those interested will have the opportunity to fill out job applications at the job fair
