Hatfield & McCoy Town Hall Forum

Pike County Tourism typically sees around 2,000 hits per month on their website. The week of the first airing of the Hatfield & McCoy Mini-Series on The History Channel, the website saw more than 100,000 hits.

The Southeast Kentucky Chamber will hold a Town Hall Forum showcasing the Hatfield and McCoy Feud and current economic opportunities on Tuesday, July 3rd at the Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center ballroom from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

The Town Hall Forum will feature a presentation by local historian Reed Potter and a panel with local tourism officials. The panel will be discussing the history of the feud, differences in the recent History Channel mini-series and reality, along with the recent tourism boom and business opportunities in the area.

This event is free and open to the public and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!
