EMERGENCY FIRE MAKING- Anyone who spends any length of time in the outdoors knows that emergencies do occur. An evening hike or hunting trip in the wilderness can possibly lead to being lost or injured, and knowing how to start a fire can make the difference between life and death in these situations. Join our staff at the Campground Interpretive Stage to learn alternative ways to start a fire. You will learn about fireproof matches, how to make a fire with flint and steel, a bow drill, and a battery with steel wool. Children 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. FREE ACTIVITY
