And Prestonsburg District United Methodist Women
As life rushes along, our lives seem to be hectic, stressful, and even out of control. Most of us yearn to have peace of mind and a more spiritual way of being in a world filled with anxiety, loss, stress, and economic instability. We ache to draw nearer to God and to wrap ourselves in God's healing love. Yet we rarely take the time to rest and restore ourselves. In this sacred and restorative retreat, we learn how we can return to the spiritual core of our existence. We explore how we can begin to change our frantic lifestyles in our everyday lives; enrich our souls through spiritual practices, meditations, storytelling, quiet, and prayers that provide us with new energy and meaning; and find new ways to move inward toward the heart of God. Come experience this refreshing retreat with Dr. Joy Carol where we have the opportunity to refill our spiritual tanks and find greater meaning in our lives.
