“BACK IN TIME” - Go back in time to the days when our forefathers lived in these mountains. Times were much different then. The lifestyle, culture and how folks dug out their livelihood on hillside farms is something that is fast disappearing and forgotten by many. We’ll tell you what it was like to use a horse or mule in pulling the turning plows, harrows, drags and bull tongue plows. Get hands-on-experience grinding corn into meal, tour a 185 year old cabin home, then learn how and why moonshine was made. Meet at the Visitor Center. FREE ACTIVITY.
