Kentucky continues to rank among the top 10 states for obesity and obesity-related diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. 2nd Sunday is an opportunity for Kentucky community members to join together and show that they want to be healthy and have fun while doing so.
The UK Cooperative Extension Service coordinates2nd Sundayalongside the Partnership for a Fit Pike County and county government. We encourage you to add more physical activity to your lifestyle. Wherever you live - there's a great place nearby that you can go to explore the outdoors or enjoy one of our beautiful community parks. Be there. Be healthy. Celebrate 2nd Sunday on October 9th!!
