2020 Hillbilly Days Festival
Venture to downtown Pikeville, Kentucky, for the 2020 Hillbilly Days Festival, also known as "The Festival with a Heart." This year's festival will run from Thursday, April 16 through Saturday, April 18. The festival draws more than 100,000 visitors annually.
In addition to the many food and craft vendors, three free live music stages, and fun-filled carnival, Hank Williams Jr. will be headlining a concert on Saturday, April 18 at the Appalachian Wireless Arena, located in the heart on the festival. Since 1977, Pike County, Kentucky has been celebrating Hillbilly Days. This internationally known annual event serves as a fundraiser to benefit the Shriners’ Children’s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
New this year is the Dino Roar! Tour, which brings dinosaurs to life! This is a FREE show that will be located on Hambley Boulevard, near the University of Pikeville and the city's parking garage. Showtimes will be at 1, 3, and 5 p.m. daily (Thursday-Saturday).
