DESCRIPTION:The Center for Rural Development\, in partnership with The Safety Firm LLC\, an OSHA-certified health and safety training company\, is providing a 10-Hour OSHA safety and compliance training on Feb. 22 (8:30 AM-5 PM) and Feb. 23 (8:30 AM-12:30 PM) EST in Somerset. This is an in-person\, instructor-led classroom training and seating is limited. \nThe training will give a broad overview of the most significant OSHA topics and regulations including:\n\n\n Intro to OSHA | Record Keeping | Reporting Injuries & Inspections\n Walking | Working Surfaces | Fall Protection\n Emergency Action | Fire Prevention\n Electrical\n Personal Protection Equipment\n Hazard Communication\n Materials Handling | Forklift\n Ergonomics\n Safety & Health Management Programs\n Contractor Safety\n Auditing Techniques\n\n\n \n\nEach participant who completes the OSHA training will receive a wallet card in the mail from the Department of Labor acknowledging their successful completion of the course from an OSHA accepted provider.
